Frequently Asked Questions

1. When will we know if our organization will receive a grant?

Applications must be submitted prior to October 31. The board will evaluate each request and program. Determinations are made in early December. If your program is selected, a notification letter and the check will be sent before the end of that year. Letters of acceptance are sent to grantees only.


2. May we resubmit in another year?

Yes. The group of applications is evaluated on a yearly basis. Financial distributions are determined on the number and type of requests for that year, and finances available. Resubmit the application with any updates.


3. Who is eligible for grants?

Non-profit established organizations with 501(c)(3) status that support communities in the Southwest, particularly southern Arizona. The foundation generally favors smaller groups that don’t have large benefactor support. No grants are given to individuals.
